New Horizon Addiction Rehabilitation Centers for Men and Women offer safe and effective, highly specialized 24 hour supervised Detoxification Units staffed by a specially trained addiction physician and a team of addiction professionals including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Counselors.
Upon admission, residents undergo a comprehensive physical and mental health assessment as well as an in-depth substance use history; all of which inform the treatment pathway forward. Using evidence based assessment scales and treatment interventions, individuals in acute withdrawal receive the appropriate medical interventions to safely manage their withdrawal under the close supervision of the program physician and nursing staff.
After the acute stage of detoxification, residents connect with inhouse programming and ongoing counseling as part of their recovery path which follows one of the treatment streams outlined herein.
